Theme: “I Believe in Me: Happy, Healthy, Bully & Drug Free”
October 28-November 1, 2019
Monday 10/28 “I’m "RED"Y to Make Healthy Choices and Be Drug Free” Wear red.
Students pledge to live a drug and bully free life. Students will receive a sticker to promote drug-free living.
Tuesday 10/29 “I Make Healthy Choices to Promote POSITIVE Outcomes” Wear
a shirt with a positive or inspirational message or symbol. Students will receive a pencil with a positive message.
Wednesday 10/30 “I Use my HEAD to Make Healthy Choices” Wear a hat or crazy hair.
The homeroom with the highest participation percentage will win a prize.
Thursday 10/31 “My Character Counts: I’m Drug & Bully Free” Dress as your favorite
book or movie character. No toy weapons or face masks! Students will receive bookmark.
Friday 11/01 “I’m Dreaming of a Drug & Bully Free Community” Pennies for
Paulding Kickoff Day: Bring in $1 to wear your pajamas to donate funds to help families in need during the holiday season!
Poster & Essay Contests
Theme: “I Believe in Me: Happy, Healthy, Bully & Drug Free”
• Each entry must include the student’s name, grade, & teacher on the back of their poster or essay. Essays must be 1-2pgs long. Posters should be completed on at least an 11x14 paper or a half sheet of regular poster board
• Categories will be divided among grade levels, K-2 and 3-5. All posters and essays are due to Ms. Ford by Wednesday, October 30, 2019.
• Judging will be based on the following:
◦Closeness to incorporating the theme
◦Neatness
◦Originality/Creativity
◦Student's own work
